ELLINGTON JUNIORS FC

What

The development of former industrial land into a multi-purpose football hub comprising a community pavilion (including 2 team and referees changing, multi function room, kitchen and office), floodlit 7v7 artificial 3G grass pitch, 3 grass pitches, car park and fencing. 

 

Why

There was no sports facilities in Ellington.  The Clubs 13 teams had to travel outside of the Town to train and play matches.

The pavilion and grass pitches were formally opened by the Leader of Northumberland County Council in March 2019

Our thanks go to you for your continued efforts in securing the funding for our dream facility. I recall early meetings where our bank balance was in single figures and somehow almost £1M has been raised.
Already we have experienced games on the pitches and functions in the clubhouse.  The 3g will complete and compliment the site. We will always be in your debt for helping us to achieve a real life miracle.
